LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

 Hello readers,

My name is Dan Ostberg, and I am currently the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Protec Jr Ducks (EHL), a Tier III Junior Hockey program in the state of New Jersey.  I oversee all the off-ice player performance and development for the Jr Ducks.

Currently, I am residing in the state of New Jersey, where I have grown up for the majority of my life.  I even attended The State University of New Jersey, Rutgers-New Brunswick, where I obtained my Bachelors of Science.  After Rutgers, I went on to earn my Master's Degree from Ohio University (I was a Bobcat, not a Buckeye).  Post-graduation, I have worked for the Princeton University Athletic Department and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee as a Strength and Conditioning Coach.

I am an avid ice hockey fan.  I grew up playing the sport, I played defense for Rutgers, I've coached in the sport at Ohio University, and even worked as an amateur scout for Neutral Zone Scouting.

The goal for this site is produce an educational environment for coaches and athletes.  I aiming to promote content highlighting the benefits of strength training for sports performance from my own experience as a high performance coach.  I will be sharing educational content through videos, published research articles, and more.

I hope you all enjoy the information I provide.  If you have any questions or interested in specific topic please feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you!

Dan Ostberg
